Condition Standards
Can you tell me what standards you have for the condition of items?
We carefully examine each item to ensure its quality, authenticity, and state. The items are classified as Pristine, Excellent, Very Good, Good, or Fair, based on their condition.
Pristine items are completely unused and come with tags, boxes, and dust bags.
Excellent items are unused, but they may not have tags or boxes.
Very Good items may have slight wear, such as scuffing on the soles of shoes or light scratches on handbags or accessories.
Good items show more noticeable wear, such as moderate scuffing on the soles of shoes and worn corners on handbags and accessories.
Fair items have significant wear, such as heavily worn corners, noticeable scratches, or interior wear.
Many of our items come with original tags, boxes, dust bags, and authenticity cards, and we mention them in the item description if they are available.
Watches are classified into different grades based on their condition.
Grade O watches are like-new, while Grade 1 watches may have minor imperfections that are consistent with handling, a single light marking, a bracelet that has been sized, or an engraved case.
Grade 2 watches may have superficial imperfections that are consistent with light use, multiple light markings, a single moderate marking, light stretching on the bracelet, or minor cosmetic alterations on external components.
Grade 3 watches may have markings and wear that are consistent with moderate use, multiple moderate markings, light discoloration on the metal, dial or hands, moderate stretching on the bracelet, blemishes on the crystal or embellishments, or cosmetic alterations on external components.
Grade 4 watches may have markings and wear that are consistent with heavy use, moderate wear on the case and attachment, one or more heavy markings, moderate discoloration on the metal, dial or hands, heavy stretching on the bracelet, moderate wear on the crystal, or significant cosmetic alterations on external components.
